NOW SUPPORTING QuarkXPress 8 and Adobe CS4
Lately, Q2ID has been known as a new Adobe plug in for InDesign which is created by Markzware. This plug in software will easily help you to convert QuarkXPress file into InDesign file only in one click. This means that this tool offers you lots of benefits. Among those benefits are that this tool enables data migration, eliminates time to recreate file and reduces cost for recreating the file. It also provides you with freedom of authoring system and preserves intellectual property investment. It is true that in prior time, people need to convert Quark into Indesign file one by one which makes the work takes too long time. This tool of course provides feasibility for designers to work on their project as among of its features is that it can support Adobe InDesign CS3.
Surprisingly, as good news for the designers today, Markzware released an up graded version of Q2ID V4 which now supports QuarkXPress v3 – v8 and Adobe CS3 and CS4. As the leading developer of data extraction and conversion, Markzware has created Q2ID V4 which provides easier, simpler, and more affordable method of converting Quark files into Adobe documents. Q2ID V4 converts many QuarkXPress documents elements including page positioning, fonts and style, color models, images, tables, and layers. This up dated version meets the needs of designers who want to be much easier in working with either Quark or InDesign files. This new version, Q2ID V8, offers the same great one click conversion within InDesign for all versions of QuarkXPress and now includes the v8. You will also notice that there is a new Markzware menu item within InDesign once the plug in is loaded, which is kind of neat.
If you want to up grade your Q2ID version or purchase Q2ID V4, you can just simply go to Markzware – Q2ID V4 and use the link at the bottom for 1 seat, 5 seat, or 10 seat. However, if you just want to purchase the up dated version, you must previously have the copy of Q2ID v2 or v3 for Macintosh, or the copy of Q2ID v1 or v2 for Windows.

Back when I wrote the Quark for InDesign Users articles, I was approached by Markzware, a company that makes several Quark and InDesign plugins. I know the folks over at InDesign Secrets love plugins, but I’ve never used any myself.
